Pastor John Schopf and his wife, Heather, came to Lighthouse in April of 2008. Having graduated with a pastoral degree from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College in 2002, John soon entered the ministry as an assistant pastor in a northern suburb of the Twin Cities (MN). During that time he completed a Master's Degree in Biblical Studies from Faith Baptist Bible College. John is originally from the State of Washington and enjoys reading, road trips and a good cup of dark coffee.

Heather, while staying at home with their four children, assists in John's ministry as she is able and also pursues music composition for her family music ministry, Forever Be Sure.
